Madrasah Idrisiah is the largest beneficiary of the Royal Waqf of Sultan Idris Murshid-Ul-Adzam Shah. The allocation is used to pay teachers’ salaries, provide student allowances, support staff expenses, and sustain the school’s daily operations. Since its official opening in 1922, the madrasah has served as a royal religious educational institution that has produced numerous scholars, educators, and community leaders. With the support of the waqf, Madrasah Idrisiah is not merely a school, but a center of knowledge deeply rooted in the history of Islamic education in Perak.
